The bentART Committee solicited your artwork for its use for promotional purposes in 2022. We received submissions from several artists in the community and chose Peter Scriven’s artwork amongst the best of the submissions.

Peter based his design on simplified letterforms (b,e,n & t) working in conjunction with the colours of the rainbow and an artist’s spectrum. The concept is minimalist but not stark. The idea of ‘form follows function’ flows through the simple but elegant geometric shapes and reflects the synthesis of multiple art forms.

We thank Peter for letting us utilise his design throughout the bentART season and we also thank the other artists who submitted. bentART is a community of engaged artists and supporters and we are grateful to have the talent of Peter and his fellow artists.
