When:  Saturday 10th to Monday, 12th June 2023

Times:  Open from 11 – 5 pm Saturday and Sunday and 11 – 2 pm on Monday.

Artists Talk:  Saturday and Sunday at 3 pm

Where:  Rex-Livingston Art & Objects Gallery, 182/4 Katoomba St Katoomba

Cost:  General Exhibition entry is free from Saturday to Monday

Note:  The awards presentation will occur on Friday evening and be live-streamed on Facebook from 6.30 – 7.00 pm so everyone can be part of the excitement. Venue limitations on numbers can only accommodate Artists and Sponsors to the Friday evening presentation.

Judges

Yvette Hamilton is an Australian interdisciplinary artist and academic of Mauritian descent working on the unceded lands of the Dharug and Gundungurra people (Blue Mountains, NSW). She is an Associate Lecturer in Photography and Moving Image at UNSW Art and Design and a current PhD candidate at the University of Sydney.

Rebecca Waterstone holds a Master of Art (With Excellence) from the University of NSW Art and Design, and a Bachelor of Education from Western Sydney University. 

Curators

Jacob Appleton (he/him) is an emerging curator. Born and raised in the Blue Mountains, Jacob has worked in art ecologies across Melbourne, Sydney, and regional NSW. Passionate about community projects, public programming and artist-run initiatives, Jacob is due to graduate with a Master of Curation and Cultural Leadership at UNSW, Sydney this August. Jacob will be curating the in-person Public Gallery at Katoomba.

Amelia Tracey (she/her) is an honours graduate of the University of Sydney College of the Arts. Amelia has exhibited her own work in Sydney and Melbourne and has enjoyed a role in curating bentART in the past – both in the physical and online galleries. Amelia is honoured to be invited back for another year to curate the online virtual gallery.
